Managed AI Services for Agents and Automations
Managed AI services cover the ongoing operation of AI agents and automations after they launch. NextCTL monitors them, evaluates prompts and models, maintains workflows, controls cost and works through an improvement backlog. It suits teams that have AI in production and want a named owner for keeping it reliable.
- Delaware registered
- Dhaka delivery hub
- Scope agreed in writing
- Weekly demos during build
- A named lead on every project
- Human handoff on every AI agent
What are managed AI services?
We can manage systems we built through AI agent development and AI automation, and systems built by your own team or another supplier. For controls and accountability around AI use, see AI governance.
Who managed AI services are for
CTOs and IT directors who have AI in production and need it to stay reliable.
Founders who launched an agent or automation and have no time to maintain it.
Operations leaders whose team depends on an AI workflow every day.
It is not a fit if nothing is live yet. Start with a build, or an AI operations audit, and move to managed operation after launch.
What we manage
What you receive
Support ownership agreed up front, with a named lead.
Monitoring reports on behaviour, incidents and cost.
A record of every change made to prompts, models and workflows.
An improvement backlog with recommendations for you to approve.
Runbooks, so your team can see how each system is operated.
The business outcome
AI systems that stay dependable after launch, with clear ownership, visible quality and cost you can explain. Your team spends its time on the business instead of on keeping AI running. We do not promise uptime or response figures.

How it works
How managed AI services work.
Five phases, from taking ownership to steady improvement.
- Step 1
Take over
We review the system, its access, documentation and current behaviour, and agree what we will own.
- Step 2
Set up monitoring
We put logging, alerts and a test set in place so quality and failures are visible.
- Step 3
Operate
We watch behaviour, handle incidents and keep workflows and integrations working.
- Step 4
Evaluate
We rerun tests when prompts, models or data change and review samples of live outputs.
- Step 5
Improve
We work through an improvement backlog, with changes approved by you.
How managed AI services work
How we measure
Evaluation results against your test set, over time.
Incidents, causes and how each was resolved.
Usage and cost by workflow, with the main drivers.
Cases handed to a person, and why.
Backlog items completed and their effect on the measures above.

What are managed AI services?
Managed AI services are the ongoing work of running AI agents and automations once they are live. That includes monitoring, evaluation of prompts and model behaviour, workflow maintenance, cost control and steady improvements. We can look after systems we built or systems your team built. Scope is agreed in a discovery call.
What is AI operations, and how does it relate to LLMOps?
AI operations is the day-to-day running of AI systems: watching behaviour, handling failures, updating prompts and keeping integrations working. LLMOps is the same discipline applied to language model applications, including evaluation sets, prompt versions and model changes. We cover both under one managed service.
Can you manage AI systems you did not build?
Often, yes. We start with a review of the system, its documentation, access and current behaviour, then tell you what we can take on and what needs fixing first. If a system is hard to operate, we say so and propose the work needed to make it maintainable.
How do you evaluate prompts and models over time?
We keep a test set of real cases with known good outcomes and rerun it whenever a prompt, model or data source changes. We also review samples of live conversations or outputs. This shows whether quality is holding, improving or drifting, so changes are made on evidence.
How do you control AI running costs?
We look at where usage goes, then reduce waste: shorter prompts, caching, routing simple tasks to lighter models and stopping unnecessary calls. Quality is rechecked against the test set after each change. You receive a clear view of what drives cost, with options for you to approve.
What do I receive each period?
You receive a monitoring report covering behaviour, incidents and costs, a record of changes made, and an improvement backlog with recommendations. A named lead owns support and is your contact. The reporting rhythm and support scope are agreed with you at the start and written down.
Do you offer DevOps retainers and software support?
Yes. Ongoing infrastructure and delivery support, and general software maintenance, can sit alongside managed AI work. We confirm what is included in the scope discussion and put it in writing. If you need extra engineering capacity, see our hiring and dedicated team pages.
Do you guarantee uptime or response times?
No numbers are promised on this page. Support ownership, escalation steps and what is covered are agreed for each engagement and put in writing. We tell you early if a system's design makes reliable operation difficult, and we recommend what to fix.
Managed AI services questions
Decide with evidence, not a pitch.
Open a neutral research prompt in the AI you already use. It asks where NextCTL fits, where a freelancer or an in house hire may be enough, and what to verify before you choose.
